Wish I could be with you all today to celebrate the life of Don Harkins. So unexpected and out of the Blue.
Perhaps God is rewarding him since he did so much good in one lifetime.

Those of us who have been lucky enough to have known him and experience his work know that he was an American Giant and a
good friend. What comes to my mind when I think of Don is integrity and joy.
His dedication to educating us on the issues that matter most-our health and freedom has been a huge relief over years
just knowing he was always there fighting on our behalf. He printed the best newspaper in the country,
The Idaho Observer and one of the only ones I truly respect and look forward to reading.
Him and Ingre were out there in front with the the newspaper, speaking on radio, in person, on TV
exposing the lies and printing the truth. This man was multi talented; insightful, honest, real, witty, hard hitting in his
unique matter of a fact way and most of all... courageous.
I connected with Don and was drawn to his presence and congenial personality the moment we met
over a decade ago at the Founding Board Members meeting of the American Media Association whose purpose was to build a
viable organization to spread alternative media sources. His foresight and intelligence and hard work contributed much to
this venture as he inspired us all.
Lots of great memories with Don watching him in action but one of my favorites was seeing the side of him after the
2004 Freedom Conference in LA while walking along the ocean with him and Ingre. He was laughing, kicking up sand beaming
while talking about leaving this life behind dreaming of living a peaceful existence in Hawaii.
I wish you peace Don, now and forever. Your dedication to informing us and love was so strong and will be sorely missed!  We
are grateful for your life. Love and strength to us as we mourn the loss of Don, especially to his beloved Ingre, Don's
amazing partner.
Thank you Don.
Love
Sandi  Rizzo
